Beer Battered Fish Pakora
East meets West here, taking a Great British favourite of beer-battered fish and twisted with a fusion of Indian spices. The people of Yorkshire should be proud of this one!
400-500g fresh, white fish fillets or loins cut into bite-sized chunks
1 1/2 tbsp plain yoghurt
5tbsp chickpea flour
1tsp ginger puree
1tsp garlic puree
150ml Black Sheep Ale/Bitter (the special ingredient)
Juice from 2 fresh limes
1tsp carom seeds
1tsp red chilli powder
oil for deep frying
1sbsp chat masala for garnish
